General
1. What is a Visit Singapore Account?Visit Singapore Account (VSA) is a login-as-a-service provided by Singapore Tourism Board and allows users to access various Visit Singapore platforms or third-party websites with a single set of credentials.
2. Why is Visit Singapore Account being discontinued?As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our digital services, we are streamlining our online offerings. The Visit Singapore Account will be discontinued as we concentrate on enhancing the content and user experience of the Visit Singapore website. Users will be able to access all the information and features on the website without needing a separate account.
3. Why have I received an email or SMS on the end of the Visit Singapore Account?We are reaching out to all Visit Singapore Account users on the discontinuation of the Visit Singapore Account. You are receiving the email or SMS because this email address or mobile number was used to create a Visit Singapore Account. If you have received an SMS, your Visit Singapore Account will be automatically deleted, and no further action will need to be taken.
4. Will I still be able to log into my Visit Singapore Account? What will happen to my access after 31 July 2025?You will still be able to log in and make changes to your account before 31 July 2025. You will not be able to access your account or make further changes after 31 July 2025.
5. Will I be charged any fees or are there any fees for the Visit Singapore Account?The Visit Singapore Account does not charge for any of its services and has been free for use. The Visit Singapore Account or the Visit Singapore website will not ask you for any form of payment or request for you to perform any form of monetary transactions. The Singapore Tourism Board takes a serious view on scams and impersonation. Please contact us at stb_feedback@stb.gov.sg or file a police report with the Singapore Police Force if you have received any payment request.
Data and Privacy
1. What data is collected when creating a Visit Singapore Account?The following data may be collected upon account registration:
- First Name*
- Last Name*
- Email address or Mobile Number*
- Place of residence*
- City of residence
- Profile image
- Profile language
- Gender
- Month and year of birth
- Interest
- Travel preference
- Social account linkages with VSA
- Third party account linkages through VSA
Fields in asterisk (*) are mandatory for the purpose of account registration. The remaining fields are optional and were collected if you opted to provide us with the information.
2. Can I delete my Visit Singapore Account and data?You can continue to make changes to, and delete your Visit Singapore Account before 31 July 2025. To delete your account and data, log in with your Visit Singapore Account, under Sign-In & Security, click on “Delete all my data and remove my account”. Alternatively, you may indicate your email address on this form, and we will delete your account within one month from 31 July 2025.
3. What will happen to my data after the discontinuation of my Visit Singapore Account?Your profile information will be retained for the following purposes:
- (a) To send you destination-related marketing or promotional messages from the Singapore Tourism Board, for which you may choose to unsubscribe at any time.
- (b) To support data analytics aimed at understanding travel behavioural patterns and preferences, and thus enable Singapore Tourism Board to provide recommendation to consumers like you for up to 5 years from 31 July 2025.
If you do not wish to retain your profile information with the Singapore Tourism Board, please provide your email address on this form. Your account will be deleted, and you will be unsubscribed from destination updates, deals and promotion emails from the Singapore Tourism Board within one month from 31 July 2025. You will receive a notification once your account has been deleted.
If you wish to retain your profile with us, no action is required, and the following profile information will be retained:
- Email address*
- First Name*
- Last Name*
- Place of residence*
- City of residence
- Profile language
- Gender
- Month and year of birth
- Interest
- Travel preference
Fields in asterisk (*) are mandatory for the purpose of account registration. The remaining fields are optional and are collected if you have opted to provide us with the information.
The remaining profile information will be deleted:
- Mobile number
- Profile image
- Social account linkages with VSA
- Third party account linkages through VSA
No, but you can log in to your Visit Singapore Account before 31 July 2025 to view, edit and/or delete your information.
5. If I have used the Visit Singapore Account to login to a third-party website, what will happen to my data?If you have consented to sharing your basic profile information such as name, email address, mobile number and place of residence to a third-party website, you will no longer be able to use your Visit Singapore Account to login to the third party website from 31 July 2025.
If you wish to withdraw consent on the use of your information for third party website, you can log in and go to the section on “Apps with Account Access” to withdraw your consent. Visit Singapore Account will also advise all third-party websites to remove all data related to the Visit Singapore Account after 31 July 2025.
6. What is the Singapore Tourism Board’s Personal Data Protection policy?The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is committed to protecting information under our control that identifies an individual (personal data), including name and identifying contact details. STB’s Personal Data Protection policy serves to inform you of your rights for your personal data, why we collect your personal data, how we use and share your personal data, and for how long we store your personal data. Account
1. What do I do if I forgot my password?You can click on the "Forgot password?" link on the VS Account sign-in page and follow the steps to reset your password.
2. What do I do if I forgot my username?The username is the email address or mobile number that you used to create the Visit Singapore Account. If you have forgotten your username, you may retrieve it by going to https://account.visitsingapore.com, select “Forgot password” and subsequently select “Forgot account”. You will be required to key in your recovery email address.
3. What do I do if someone else is using my email address and had created a Visit Singapore Account?You can reset the password to the Visit Singapore Account which uses your email address by visiting https://account.visitsingapore.com. Once you have reset your account, you may delete the account through the profile settings in the respective applications.
